It works this way: drive 3 miles out of your way, pay full price for a refill, and save the planet an extra plastic cup. And I'm okay with that.

My covid economics has been drive 7 miles out of my way to get to a seafood restaurant, decide the crowd looks a little too rednecky, drive another 8 miles to get to a better one.

That would be the case in the Baton Rouge area. I’ve ordered take out several times and each time I noted that the people behind the counter seem to have trouble wearing a mask. Even when one was on their face, they either weren’t wearing it properly or touched it to move it into place and didn’t clean/sanitize their hands or change gloves right before handling my bags. So far, I’ve had to talk to every restaurant manager. One swore that her employees was wearing a mask. I’m sure that employee put it on when she saw the boss coming.

This happened to us the other day - we didn’t take the food and demanded a refund then left.
